After having had such an amazing response to our Christmas card drawing competition last year, we are looking for another budding young local artist to design our Christmas card for 2020.
What is the prize?
A 2020 Apple iPad and an Apple Pencil! We want to encourage our budding young artists to try some of the amazing drawing and design applications offered by this awesome tech to channel their creative talents.
Who can apply?
Primary school children, ages up to and including 11 years old.
How do I enter?
To enter our competition a parent or guardian should:
- Like and share the competition post on our Facebook page
- Hit ‘like’ on our Harding Lewis Facebook page
- Post or hand your child’s drawing into either our Douglas or Ramsey office before the competition deadline. Both addresses can be found on our website.
- On the reverse of each drawing a parent or guardian must write: the name and age of the child who has drawn the picture, a contact telephone number and the name of the child’s school.
What should I draw?
Any Christmas themed picture of your choosing! Feel free to be colourful, creative and imaginative!
You can take inspiration from our competition image or go for some totally off the wall! Extra credit will be given for incorporating either the “Harding Lewis” name or our “HL” logo into the drawing.
When is the competition deadline?
The competition will run for 2 weeks:
Opening on Monday 26th October
Closing on Monday 9th November at 5pm
Please note that entries cannot be accepted after this date.
Who will judge the competition?
We have selected 3 local guest judges from creative industries within the community to judge the competition.
When will the winner be picked and how will I know if I have won?
The winner will be picked before the end of November and announced on our Facebook page. We will ONLY get in touch with the winner by contacting the telephone number provided. If the winner does not respond within 3 days then a new winner will be chosen.
Please note that a parent or guardian must be present when the winner collects their prize.
By submitting a child’s drawing you are giving us permission to use the details provided, including the name, age and school of the competition entrant as part of the marketing for this competition and subsequent competitions. We may also request permission to use the photo of the competition entrant receiving their prize. The details and photo provided may also be included within our online and print media. The winning drawing will be used as the front cover for our Christmas card, which will be distributed to all of our clients and many of our business associates. After the competition has ended, if you would like to collect your child’s drawing from our office please feel free to do so. We will keep hold of all of drawings until 31 December 2020.
Good luck everyone!! 🙂
